At the Zone 6 AGM in Banstead Surrey, the Raynet Shield was awarded to Kent RAYNET.

This was awarded to recognise the sterling work that went into handling communications for Kent Police, for the Tour de France event last summer, and the call out more recently for Southeast Coast Ambulance.

The shield was accepted on behalf of Kent RAYNET by Richard Mason 2E0RAM, controller for the Medway Group.
