Kent RAYNET comprises four groups within kent, covering the following areas:

 Medway

South Kent

Thanet

West Kent

Each of these groups are made up with volunteer Radio Amateurs, who give up their free time to train to provide emergency communications for the emergency services, emergency planning offices, and other utilities.

RAYNET groups train by helping some of the volunteer 'User Services', such as St. John Ambulance giving safety radio communications for large public events, such as marathons, cycle races etc.
